That is an insane amount! It helps for your fees but it’s counter-productive for agents. It cheapens the profession.
We need to have more requirements. Maybe mandatory 30 college credit hours or even an A.A. degree?
I 100% agree with this! It has become way too easy and you have a ton of part-timers who don’t take this profession seriously.
I suggest raising the fees and increasing the requirements. It is not fun going on appointments and sellers are interviewing 5 agents. When the market shifts those with not much invested will leave the profession. I would think the association could benefit from a base that does not have to leave with Market shifts.
Easy for you to say since when you started there wasn’t a lot of requirements. I think there’s enough money in the market for everyone to make.
