The Texas Real Estate Commission in November approved changes to several forms. Among those was an amendment to the Consumer  Protection Notice to alert consumers that inspectors are required to carry E&O insurance.

If your website or communications directly link to the Consumer Protection Notice on TREC’s website, no action is necessary. However, if you have saved a copy of the form on your website, you will need to update to the new version before Monday, February 1.

Note: You must also post the updated form in a readily noticeable location in each place of business that the broker maintains.
